Focus Health Network (FHN) is an independent not-for-profit membership organisation representing the professional interests of primary health care professionals on the Sunshine and Cooloola Coasts.
Formerly known as the Sunshine Coast Division of General Practice, FHN is proud to continue its long-standing tradition of providing support, business and technology solutions, education, advocacy and professional networking opportunities to all primary healthcare professionals and organisations in the region.
FHN is continuing its innovative work in the key areas of information systems and eHealth, education (old and new modes of delivery and new content), hospital and health services integration and relationship enhancement for GPs and primary and allied care, and ongoing as well as new areas of research and evaluation.
In addition, FHN is also working on a range of new services and initiatives within the health care sector and beyond. FHN’s exemplary services and outcomes, and its successful track record, are attracting new partners wanting to work with FHN.
FHN is collaborating on new national opportunities which will directly benefit the local community and FHN's regional members, as well as providing access to new vehicles for business development and expansion for primary health care in the region.
